How much does a custom website cost?
Usually starting at $3,000. Cost is dependent upon your unique needs, and increases with functionality such as ecommerce, extensive image galleries, etc.
How long does it take to build?
Two months, and that is a good thing. Most clients want to change text on their website, so this timeline includes your edits as well.
How long will a website last?
Technology moves fast. New devices, updated web browsers, and security threats mean older websites become obsolete. Realistically, six years (with ongoing maintenance) is about what you can expect. We will provide you with a site that is current with web standards at the time of publishing.
Do websites need any kind of maintenance?
Yes! Just like your computer and devices need software updates to run smoothly, so does your website. Along with software, there are security scans that need to happen, and some eyeballs checking things out to make sure everything is square. We can help keep your site software components updated and troubleshoot issues. Learn more.
Can I make changes to websites on my own?
We base our website custom designs on WordPress, a content management system that provides a dashboard to various parts of the website. Simple changes such as modifying text, adding an image, or creating a new page are fairly simple.
Can you teach me how to use my website?
We provide two hours of training to get your staff started. If you or your staff aren’t familiar with WordPress, there are training programs we recommend.
I don’t have time (nor does my staff) to make changes on my website, do you do this?
Yes, we have support contracts available for busier websites.
